Job Description

Job Role The Junior .NET Software Programmer would work on building an Financial Solution using C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server. The intended application is a web based solution. The Programmers would work with a team of Senior Quantitative Financial Analyst and help in coding, integrating, testing and maintaining the web based application. The Programmer would be responsible for documentation and would always follow the stringent application development and quality process at I-Peritus. The Programmer would also be responsible for learning and integrating new techniques, tools and methodologies. Educational background The Junior .NET Software Programmer should be from a reputed University with strong academic credentials. Engineers would be preferred. Skills and Experience The Junior .NET Software Programmer should be a fresh candidate or with 1 year of experience. Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server is mandatory, Candidates with additional skills in of C++ will be an added plus. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of programming, thought-through problem solving and use of tools like AJAX. Technical skills C#, ASP.NET 2.0, XML, Crystal Reports, SQL C++/VC++ would be an added plus Development experience in Windows Forms and Web based desired n-tier architecture Third Party Controls Knowledge of UI development, multithreading. Understanding concepts of DLL,interface and plug in architecture Good documentation skills. Knowledge of debugging skills. Inclination towards algorithm development methodology Specific characteristics The Junior .NET Software Programmer should be Team Oriented Self-starter and willing to own responsibilities Eager to learn and participate Exceptional problem solving skills Ability to handle multiple-tasks Strong communication and inter-personal skills
