C++ Financial Engineer/Consultant Overview This is an exiting opportunity for a Science graduate with some work experience wishing to move into Investment Banking software development projects and get some international exposure. Role This C++ financial engineer/consultant role, will provide exposure to a range of projects including the development of graphical user interfaces, simulations, interface between different systems, derivatives pricing models and standalone applications. There will be interaction with clients’ developers, business analysts and project managers, for the definition of specifications, product implementation, testing and remediation. Travelling to London, New York and other international financial centers is part of this role. Candidate Ideal candidates must have graduated from a top-tier university, and be motivated to move to the financial software industry and enhance their knowledge in the field of financial derivatives. 1 to 5 years of commercial C++/C# experience, preferably but not necessarily in the financial sector, are required. Robust command of C++ and deep understanding of object-oriented programming are critical, as well as strong customer services skills and proficiency in English. Additionally, knowledge of C#, good understanding of databases and Oracle PL/SQL will be considered an advantage.
